Je pense que tout le monde sait ce qu’est le 7ème art, mais à quoi donc fais référence les deux autres?

Bien que l’on évoque jamais leur « rang », il existe bel et bien 6 arts avant le cinéma et 2 après. Le 6ème art concerne les arts vivants (la danse, le théâtre, le cirque) et le 8ème les arts médiatiques (la photographie, la télévision, la radio).

Je me surprends à trouver l’inspiration dans une pièce de théâtre. Un tramway nommé Désir (A Streetcar Named Desire) de Tennessee Williams, jouée pour la première fois en 1947, porté à l’écran en 1951 par Vivien Leigh et Marlon Brando. Plusieurs fois mise en scène, il fut aussi adapté sur notre petit écran en 1984, mais il m’aura fallu attendre l’adaptation de 2015-2016 jouée à Londres puis à New York pour découvrir dans le rôle phare de Blanche Dubois qui sombre doucement dans la folie, l’éblouissante Gillian Anderson au paroxysme de son art (Illustration de gauche).

Dans un tout autre registre cette fois-ci, The Fall une série télévisée britannique créée par Allan Cubitt et diffusée de 2013 à 2016 en trois saisons me permettra de découvrir une fois encore l’étendue du talend de Gillian Anderson (qu’on nomme plus pour son rôle de Dana Scully « TheX-files » chère à mon cœur).
Elle excelle dans le rôle de la détective surintendante Stella Gibson, intransigeantes et complexes. Un personnage fort et énigmatique qui porte haut les couleurs et les valeurs de la femme libre et moderne, extrêmement à l’aise avec sa propre sexualité. Sa beauté de Madonne offre aussi un côté intouchable et distant au personnage qu’elle incarne avec délicatesse, force et fragilité en même temps. Elle se révèle parfaite en Stella qu’elle impose comme une véritable héroïne féministe de plus en plus gagnée par la noirceur de l’homme qu’elle traque.

She excels in the role of the Superintendent Stella Gibson, intransigent and complex. Her Madonna beauty also offers an untouchable and distant side at the character she embodies with delicacy, strength and fragility at the same time. She reveals herself perfect in Stella that she imposes as a true feminist heroine more and more won over by the blackness of the man she track.
